Reviewed & Rated

Reviewed & Rated

Unsurprisingly, this feature is devoted to books that have been read, then reviewed, and awarded a rating out of five. The reviews will attempt to be fair and balanced; highlighting both the good and bad contained within the title being reviewed.

All reviews will avoid major spoilers for the reviewed book, though they may provide major spoilers for earlier titles in any given book series. Minor spoilers are generally unavoidable in order to give readers an idea about the storyline of a book, but for the most part it will be limited to information already available in a back cover blurb.

Finally, none of the reviews will be contaminated with fanboyism; that is a promise.

In Coming

In Coming

The purpose of this feature, is to simply bring attention to imminent new releases, scheduled to be published during the following week.

The Spotlight

The Spotlight

The primary function of this feature, is to highlight a particular book or series deemed to be worthy of readers’ attention, whether it may be a future release, a new release, or a previously published release.

The Spotlight is intended to act as a sort of preview of the highlighted title(s), giving information about plots, tag-lines, characters, cover art etc., so it won’t contain an actual review, though it may provide links to other reviews elsewhere online.

Quotable

Quotable

There is a big clue in the name of this feature. That’s right, this is dedicated to memorable book quotes. Whether long or brief, funny or serious, whimsical or dramatic, it is hoped that quotes featured here will provide an incentive for readers to check out the corresponding book.
