A most insightful observation from a steampunk adventure heavily influenced by a love for Japanese anime.

“It’s easy to lose yourself in the idea of a person and be blinded to their reality.”

Jay Kristoff

Jay Kristoff isn’t just a Dave Grohl look-a-like, he is also the author of the steampunk fantasy novel, Stormdancer, a book that was much maligned by a vocal minority of book bloggers when it was published. In spite of the criticisms it is actually a highly enjoyable tale, and rather quotable, too; the above being a fine example.

If you haven’t read it yet I recommend that you add it to your to read list. If you require a little persuasion then feel free to read my review, maybe it will convince you to take a chance on the book.

Dedicated to the unforgettable quotes of fantasy and science fiction literature. Whether long or brief; funny or serious; whimsical or dramatic. May they provide incentive to discover the originating books.
